My Students

Our classroom has 19 fifth-grade students. The students in this class are respectful, kind, compassionate, and encourage others. They are enthusiastic readers and enjoy both fiction and nonfiction texts. Giving them an area to read in our classroom will encourage their love of reading even further.

My Project

Here in 5th grade, we are creating lifelong readers! Our classroom is in need of some new furniture to create a interactive reading area. With a wide range of places to read around our classroom, I can provide students with the tools they need to be successful readers. I will be able to create a lively and inviting space. The area will be used during independent reading, stations, small group work, book clubs, and guided reading. We also need an iPad for literacy stations and audio books.
