This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a very diverse group of kids with a least 26 different languages. Many are first generation American citizens. I have such a huge passion for education and they just want to eat up all the knowledge. I feel very fortunate to have them.
I would like to introduce a citizen's project, where they get the chance to learn more about America as well as other countries.
I would like them to share with myself and other students about experiences in their countries.
My Project
My student struggle with math a lot of them are still learning english so the boards would allow them to work hands on.
I believe this will be a big help to me and build confidence in all my students.
I have a very large class, the material would allow everyone to be apart of all the lessons. I will also let them share answers without the fear of coming to the board and being afraid in from of the other students in the classroom. I think this will really help.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
