My Students

The 5th-grade students are excited, energetic, and creative.

They take advantage of the opportunities they are given.

They love hands-on activities and are inquisitive throughout their learning.

Many of the students in my class are English Language Learners. Having the materials they need and being able to access quality books will be crucial in their English development.

My Project

Our class is running low on lots of supplies. Some of these supplies include headphones, clipboards, whiteboard markers, and pencils. Currently, we don't have enough headphones for all the students, which makes things such as testing and online reading programs difficult.

My students have begun partner reading and are enjoying reading award-winning books!

We need access to more great books that they can read alone or during partner reading. As they read quality literature, I have seen so much improvements with their reading! I also would love to have credit in TPT to purchase online resources to help differentiate in the classroom and be prepared for online learning.
