My Students
I am so grateful to teach at a small public school in Northern California where creativity and academics are both highly valued. My students are kind, brave, and enthusiastic learners.
Our class is full of learning and laughter as we support each other and help each other grow.
My Project
Art is a classroom time for every student to shine.
With these supplies we will be able to study famous artists throughout the year and then do projects that reflect these artists’ works.
Imagine a classroom wall full of Picasso self portraits done with the brushes from this project.
A stunning display of pointillism art in the style of Seurat using this projects oil pastels.
Liquid watercolors will help us learn about Monet.
We will read the stories of their lives with great books and explore how they worked using these materials.
Together every student can create their own masterpieces!
