My Students

My students are an amazing group of fourth graders who are avid readers. They enjoy trade books, joke books and graphic novels lately. They have grown as readers by leaps and bounds this year!

My students are a diverse group of children from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Some of them struggle with reading, some are at grade level readers and some are superstar readers. No matter what their reading ability is, my goal is to get books into their hands to give them time to explore and grow.

During this Coronavirus crisis, I would like to get interesting books into the hands of these students to keep them moving forward while we are away from school.

My Project

My students are at home during this crisis without online materials to promote learning while they are away from school. These materials will provide materials to promote learning during this time.

These materials cover Math, Social Studies and Language Arts for 4th grade students to continue learning while away from school.

Students will have math pages to work on, reading stories to continue to grow with comprehension and social studies news to help them with social studies concepts.

Since few of my students have internet access, computer or tablets, it is hard to help them complete online assignments.
