Help me give my students a speaker and microphone for classroom use to allow them to practice public speaking, along with a pencil sharpener, pencils, and other items.
Thirty amazing students make up our 4th grade class. They are hard working, fun, friends with everyone and totally deserve the best they can get!
They want to do the best they possibly can!
Our school serves students from the metro Detroit area. Our K-12 school provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment for everyone. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college and beyond. Our "college bound" mind set prepares them to strive for more from the first day they walk into the building.
My Project
The items being requested will have a great impact in my classroom. The speaker and microphone will be a huge hit with students who can't wait to use it and will be there to encourage students who are a little shy for public speaking.
The use of a classroom speaker and microphone will undoubtedly allow my students to practice speaking skills and gain self confidence when speaking to others.
The additional items being requested, such as the dry erase board markers, chart paper, and pencil sharpeners are staples in my classroom and are used multiple times a day, every day!
