Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

4th grade teacher serving kids in an urban school. My kids are excited about learning and I would love to make learning more enjoyable! I would like to provide more fun chairs and a carpet to relax and learn! Please help my students love learning!

My students come from homes that are not very stable.

They need a lot of support. The students in my building move form place to place often. Parents are in and out of their lives. They sometimes do not feel safe at their home. I want them to feel safe at school and make learning fun!

My Project

My materials will help my library be more inviting to my students and make learning more enjoyable! The bean bag chairs will help students be comfortable and the carpet will let them lay down while reading during reading centers. They will learn more about the world around us and how to read a great story.

It will allow them to be more comfortable in my classroom library.

Please help me fund this project to make my classroom a fun place to read and learn! This will also make my classroom bright and cheery!
