4th Grade Classroom Supplies

Help me give my students supplies needed to make learning engaging and help with intervention. Help me give my students behavior reward incentives because the less time I spend correcting inappropriate behavior, the better for everyone.

My Students

My school is a lower-income population. Many of my students qualify for reduced-fee lunch. Much of my classroom population comes from single parents and/or 2 income households. Many attend before and after school daycare.

My students work and try hard.

My students are interested in learning. The students who have support at home are the most academically successful. Others require additional support in the classroom. My students are taught to be good citizens and care for each other at home and at school. My students learn that our classroom is a family and we look out for and support each other. They are taught to be polite and show gratitude for what others do for them. These kids are conscientious, kind friends, helpful at home and strong learners.

My Project

We go through so many supplies due to COVID-19 because everything needs to be cleaned after use and I try to limit sharing of supplies. I find that my students respond positively to behavior reward incentives. I am requesting items that will be engaging to my students for incentives. I find that positive incentives curb poor behavior, enabling my focus to remain on academics and emotional support. Many of these supplies will allow me to send them home to students who have few resources, giving them the opportunity to practice intervention lessons at home.
