3Rs - Rest, Relax and Recharge

My Project

The daily grind for students can be a hectic day. Students need a place to rest, relax and recharge. An area of will be dedicated for this purpose. Students can sit in comfortable chairs, find some quiet time, or recharge with a snack or refreshment. My students are like my "own kids" and are well deserving of a classroom upgrade.

When your classrooms have elements of comfort, students are more likely to relax and open up to those around them, allowing for more creativity and the sharing of critical thinking.

The furniture will allow students to sit and rest comfortably between classes and have proper down time before getting to their next class. The ottomans can also serve as additional seating to create group seating for collaboration or promote social interaction. By keeping the classroom comfortable, it is beneficial for students' health, both physically and mentally. The health and well-being of students is essential in their ability to learn; health issues in the classroom can become some of the largest distractions for students.

Physical comfort and physical health are related to each other, even when not in the classroom. Students sometimes suffer from headaches or other ailments, offering the comfortable seating and environment, can help to address some of these issues. The snack and beverage center will keep healthy beverages and snacks, as hunger and thirst can also be a distraction to students' learning.

In addition to physical health benefits, there are also mental health benefits. Discomfort can lead to anxiety or negative thoughts, or even depression. This discomfort can be a result of the physical ailments or other reasons, keeping depressed or anxious students relaxed will give them the energy to carry on and get through the day.

The goal of this project is to address these issues.
