My students are creative, fun, and intelligent. Every day they come into my classroom eager to learn more about the world around them. They are very talkative and have tons of energy!
My favorite thing about my students are their hearts for others.
They are excellent at encouraging one another even when they make mistakes. Inside the classroom, they are exceptional at helping a friend do their best work.
My students show determination! Though some of them are coming from difficult situations at home, they persevere in the classroom. When they come to problems they do not understand they are quick to ask for guidance and try their best!
They deserve everything they need to be successful in school!
My Project
These materials will help provide my student's opportunities to explore math and science on their own terms through centers. Right now, my classroom is in need of hands-on activities in these content areas as we work through the common core and NGSS standards.
My students are eager to explore the world!
This project will give my students hands-on learning in forces and motion, multiplication and division, and measurement and time. I am especially excited to use contraptions and gravitrax to explore forces and motion. Students will be able to build structures and discover how friction and gravity affect speed. The fraction game and flashcards will give my students extra practice in centers focusing on new skills and developing old ones.
