Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are amazing.

They're respectful, responsible, and kind.

And they love to learn.

I am new to the school this year, and my students have shown me around and treated me with kindness and respect from day one. They've welcomed me into their little community, and I am so grateful for that. I want to make sure they are receiving the best education possible from me this year. You can help me make that possible by supporting my classroom and my amazing kiddos!

My Project

My students deserve a space that's organized, clean, engaging, and fun! These new materials would help to provide them just that. Most of my current materials are going over 6 years old and are desperately in need of an upgrade, and some are even falling apart. These new materials (rugs, bulletin board decorations, pillows, and an AWESOME microphone for when I teach) would help to keep my classroom current and, most importantly, fun! Furthermore, it would ensure that my materials in the classroom are clean, safe, and that students are able to navigate throughout the room effectively so that instructional time isn't lost. I can't wait to spruce up my room!
