“My contention is that creativity now is as important in education as literacy, and we should treat it with the same status.”~ Sir Ken Robinson.
Our elementary public school is full of excited little people who can't wait to create.
We are always looking for new and exciting ways to keep their creativity challenged and stimulated.
I look for ways to expand my curriculum, engage my learners, and energize the classroom by integrating technology in innovative and collaborative ways.
I am trying to expand my art program by including media arts opportunities into our hands-on art-making experiences that give students a voice, a chance to take risks, to develop lasting skills, and grow their love for learning.
3Doodlers are child-friendly pens that melt filament as you draw out designs in three-dimensions. These 12 kits will give students a chance to take turns or work collaboratively at building 3D art.
I'm excited to give my students an opportunity to experience sculptural art-making with this STEM tool to bring more STEAM into their lives.
Students will be able to create plastic based sculptural art as they learn to navigate the transition between 2D sketches and 3D creations. These pens will give my students a new experience that will encourage problem-solving, creativity, and understanding of depth beyond the illusion created on a two-dimensional picture plane.
