My Project

Students learn by hands-on lessons -everything from learning designing with the computer to "slicing" designs and printing out a final prototype. Students use TinkerCAD to create various projects.

By using a hand-held digital caliper, students can measure using the latest in technology to understand scale prior to printing.

Using the right tools will improve accuracy and quality of designs. Projects range from designing an Assistive Technology device to address a specific need, to crafting a unique fishing lure that will attract local fish species! 3D printing is loaded with creative challenges that push my students.
