My Students

My school is a Title I school in North Charleston, SC. Many students in my class come from low-income families and face impoverished living conditions. Many others come from families who do not speak English.

Despite all of the hardships they have experienced in their young lives, my students come to school with smiles on their faces and ready to learn each and every day.

These students work their hardest to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

My Project

I am looking to provide students with a place to explore, learn, and grow. My Makerspace is just beginning, and I will use these materials to give students a chance to use their imagination. With such a growth in the fields of engineering, science, and math, students need exposure to these ways of thinking.

My hope is that by providing students with the opportunity to think creatively, problem solve, and collaborate with team members, I will produce learners who are highly qualified to enter into their next level of education.

Providing my classroom with 3D printers will not only benefit students academically, but will also help them enjoy learning!
