My Students

My students are creative, innovative, and spontaneous. As 9th graders in a rural area, this is the first time that they will truly receive the experience of a biology class.

My students are so interested in nature and investigating beyond the scope of this course.

I want to be able to provide them with the best experience possible. They enjoy hands-on activities but funds are limited for these things. It is my hope that I am able to instill a love for learning that will benefit them for a lifetime.

My Project

This requested MakerBot filament bundle will allow my class to use our new 3D printer that was given to us through a grant. We are very fortunate to have access to this technology!!

Many students will never get to see a 3D printer's capabilities in their lifetimes.

I am so excited to be able to provide this opportunity. We are aspiring to design fidget spinners using our knowledge of physics and Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. We will compare our designs and see whose is the best.

My students are very excited for this project and we hope to have enough supplies. Thank you in advance for your help!
