My Students

My students come into the classroom with curiosity. The students are very curious about the world around them and they want to have something to contribute. Each of the students have their own voice, strengths, and ideas.

The students come from a mix of various backgrounds, including many ESL students.

Coming into 2nd grade, the students going from being "little kids", to "big kids". They are learning to be independent, to problem-solve, to apply their own learning, and to care for one another.

My Project

My students need 3Doodler pens for STEM, Science, and Engineering lessons. These 3Doodler pens are 3D printing pens that my students can use for STEM projects. This will incorporate what my students are learning about in technology, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc. My students can take their knowledge and make their own creations.

These 3D printing pens can help my students be creative.

They will have a reason and purpose behind their learning. When studying measurement, students can use rulers to make a design. Then, the students can print the design with a 3D pen. Also, when learning multiplication, students can take a design I make, multiply the dimensions, and create the design.
