3D Printing Our Way to a BrighterTomorrow!
My students need more filament materials for their new 3D Printer.
Have you ever drawn a sketch and wondered what it would look like in real life? By having material for the 3D printer, my students will be able to experience their creations come to life!
My students are excellent kids, they take pride in their work, try hard, and love new things.
However, unfortunately, they don't have much money or much support outside of our school. It is our jobs as teachers at my school to instill a sense of pride in them and help them become valuable and successful member of our society. We believe the mold can be broken and that every student that walks through my door deserves a chance to succeed. Many of my kids dream of becoming an engineer when they grow up and my class is the first step in making their dreams a reality.
Currently, my students are learning to use the 3D modeling software AutoDESK Inventor software. They are learning the engineering design process and can't construct and test a prototype without this material. They will use this material to finish the design process and make their imaginations run wild.
Many times students need to have an end product in a project.
By having material for our 3D printer, students will get excited about learning and can make their visions a reality. It is important to let them see the end product to keep them excited about learning.
