3D Printing: Inspiring Creativity in the Digital Age
My students need a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer. They will use this cutting-edge technology to design and bring their 3D models to life.
This project expired on December 31, 2015.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are digital natives who have an intrinsic interest in technology. They approach each task with a positive attitude and boundless enthusiasm and are an utter joy to teach.
Our school is a public, magnet, science and technology academy.
My students are highly capable and have generally chosen to attend our school, because they have an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Technology is an integral part of their learning and their lives.
The MakerBot Replicator 2 3D Printer will allow my students to use cutting edge technology to create and bring their 3D models to life. Through the use of this technology students will be engaged in authentic activities that will allow them to design, create, collaborate, and share.

They will use the newest technologies to design and create. The will be inventors.
