This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our STEAM students are innovative designers! They are hands-on learners in the STEAM classroom throughout all our units. However, they THRIVE in our 3D printing unit. However with the time restraints that only having 4 printers has on the printing process of 300+ students with prints varying from 30 minutes to 16 hours.

Using 3D printing in education offers a great way to spark creativity in ways that weren’t possible before, especially in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).

Not only does it provide a new way to teach, but it also gives students an engaging new way to learn.
