I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to teach technology in East Tennessee. I reach all 500 students in our building every single week!

Our students are bright and eager to learn all things technology! Each student in our school comes to technology once a week, and for many it is their favorite class. I work to create a learning environment that is welcoming, enriching, fun, and engaging for these deserving students.
My Project
Every year I teach a unit on new and unique technology. The topic of 3D printers is always discussed and my students usually ask "Why don't we have a 3D printer?" The answer has always been lack of funding, but I would like to change that answer going forward.
I want my students to experience the wonder of watching a 3D printer at work.
I want my students to embrace technology, not be afraid to try new things and to become innovative life long problem solvers. I feel like these vital skills can't be taught too early and I am ready to start NOW!
