Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing and curious students. Their passion and excitement for Science is such an inspiration that drives my teaching every day. With this being said, they do not have all of the materials they need to fully feed their imagination. Our population is 90% Latino and is becoming more diverse every year. In addition, our student population all qualify for free or reduced rate lunch.
We are a California and National school to watch for four years in a row and we want to keep going!
My Project
Help my students learn how to design and print 3D objects. They will be so excited to see their dreams turn into plans and then into reality! Having this technology will help my students learn how to design quality projects as well as learn craftsmanship and design knowledge.
This 3D printer will help bring our Science class to life!
Students will be able to design and make models of DNA, the planets in our solar system, cells, and so much more. It will be so exciting for my students to learn about Science when they can hold it in their hands. My students and I are beyond excited to start designing and printing!
