Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 5th grade students are full of life. I love the fact that they are always eager to share and learn new things. They love collaborating with one another. I love their positive attitude towards school. I'm always amazed by them and how much I learn from each of my students.
My Project
I would like my students to have a good foundation in engineering. I would also like them to be exposed to STEM activities to allow for richer discussions and thinking in my classroom. Students will work together to think of ways to solve everyday problems by constructing a 3D design to replicate their original model that they have drawn.
I would love for my inventors, architects, and engineers to have a 3D printer to allow for creativity and to solve everyday problems by building out their 3D model that they have drawn. Thank you.
