Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a school where 100% of the population comes from low-income or disadvantaged households. The school, along with our entire school district, qualifies as Title I. Our school is located directly off a major highway in California.
Many of my students come from first-generation households, of which many have parents who have never attended college.
My students come to school in hopes of having a safe, engaging, and collaborative classroom. School today can have many challenges. There is a high amount of crime and poverty in the area that our school covers; we hope to challenge students to overcome and prove that they too deserve opportunities for growth. With your help, we can make sure they have the materials for success, health, and happiness.

My students are looking for ways to bring their reading, science, and social studies Lessons to life — and this 3D printer can help!
The BIBO printer has dual heads and can print twice as fast, or in two colors at once. The software need for this printer is student friendly and will have us printing new resources in no time. This printer will allow my students to practice skills they will need in the future. Problem solving, collaboration, participation, are all skills needed to help run a classroom 3D printer.
