Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing! I know many teachers who would say the same thing about their class, but I have truly been blessed with this group. They are caring, passionate, and innovative. Our school has a wide variety of students with varying levels of income, but we are a Title I school.
You should hear the discussions my students lead on literary works.
They cite evidence, debate, and critically analyze each work. They are truly an inspiration others and to me!
My Project
The materials I am asking for are a 3D printer and filament to promote critical thinking and design skills. We will use these in our classroom for all subjects.
Students will be able to imagine and create new innovations and then turn them into a reality.
We can create and use our own math manipulatives, design buildings and bridges, expand our artistic and design talents, create scenes from the literature we read, and so much more! A 3D printer is a critical tool for STEAM education and to prepare our students for the future. Please help us acquire one for or classroom!
