Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students range from pre-kindergarten to fourth grade. They are all very excited to start creating in the art room! I hope to encourage their creativity by providing them with adequate supplies and technology.
Thinking creatively requires exploration.
My students want to be able to explore different mediums and learn more about color mixing. Some students do not have access to any sort of art supplies at home, so the art room will be the only place they can really let their imaginations shine!
My Project
My students are growing up in a digital world. I need to give them modern experiences so that they will be prepared to enter a digital workplace.
As technology continues to change, so will the ways technology can be used to create art.
The ability to create art using that technology will open many doors for my students in the future, whether they choose a career in the art field or not.
3D printing can take many forms, but the ease and accessibility of the 3D pens will be a wonderful starting point to introduce my students to the world of digital art.
