Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

After being virtual, my students need to do hands on activities together! Since being online, students have not had much exposure to science projects or materials. They cannot wait to do more this school year! I am excited to give them more opportunities.

My Project

STEM is becoming a large part of the future, and so many jobs and careers of the future involve things in STEM.

Giving my students the opportunity to work with 3D Pens in science class will help them prepare for the future ahead and help them discover what they desire in the science field.

They can build structures to be an engineer, fix a problem, build their own ecosystem, or all kinds of things with these 3D pens.

These pens will be enough for 1 in each classroom for the entire 5th grade at my school. This way ALL 5th grade students will have equal opportunities to be involved in STEM. My 5th grade team currently has 0 3d pens.
