This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are the students most don't think of when opportunities regarding STEM are discussed.

Stereotypes and bias get in the way, and opportunities to expose our students to what the future looks like, are missed.

I don't want to be that educator.

I want to provide my students with doorways into the future. The 3Doodler pens are just the beginning.

My students' imaginations become a reality with 3D printing. They will be exposed to a tech tool that will take what is in their mind and make it a reality. Imagine the possibilities! Exposure to the 3Doodler pen may lead my students to investigate careers in STEM. How exciting!

A dip in the pool may lead to a swim in the ocean. I want to be the educator who provides the collection for my students.
