3D History

Help me give my students access to 3D models of historical items. With this 3D printer and accompanying supplies I can create detailed models for students to see while online and handle when in class.

My Students

I teach 10th and 11th grade history. The high school I work at is the lowest socioeconomic school in the district. Student backgrounds range from both parents at home and a great family life to single parent homes where they don't see their parents to often. Our school is one of the oldest in the district and our kids deserve the best.

My Project

With this project I will be able to create many 3D models of historical items with great detail. During the year we talk about different cultures and their architecture. Usually in history I will have to find a photo online, with ok quality, and show the students what I am talking about when discussing a Building, statue, or landform. With this printer I will be able to show them precise details or specific things unique to the models subject. I believe this will benefit both online and in class learning.
