My students need a MakerBot Academy 3D Printing Bundle to print our creations in 3D!
This project expired on March 12, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
In today's world it is important for students to learn how to use the latest and greatest technology. Technology is no longer a thing of the future...it is now!
My students are fourth graders in a high poverty elementary school.
I have 24 students in my classroom with a wide range of abilities, needs, and concerns. Even though my students may deal with struggles at home, they come to school every day ready and willing to be part of our family and learn what they can. They strive to be "The Best They Can Be" each and every day!
With this AMAZING MakerBot Academy 3D Printing Bundle, my students will be able to reach for the stars with their creations. In Science, my students would be able to design 2D models of plants, land models, and space and turn these 2D creations into 3D creations! In Math, my students will be able to design their own math manipulatives and make a 3D version. What a wonderful way to teach students that technology and their imagination is important in todays world. They will be learning how to "think outside of the box" and create models of real-life objects. What a wonderful way to improve their skills for their future!
Please help my students become even more tech savvy and ready for their future!
Being able to turn 2D creations into 3D creations will inspire many students to become sculptors, engineers, artists, and scientists! We can instill a sense of pride and confidence in their ability to be creative!
