Help me give my students the ability to create using these awesome 3D pens. There are so many opportunities of projects my students can do using these from; cookie cutters to key chains, sculptures of their choosing, or even portraits!

My Students

What I love most about my students is they LOVE building things in Art Class. They would much rather create something 3D than 2D. Any chance they get to have free art and can build using whatever materials they can find, they take it and run with it.

One particular class that I know will be so excited about this particular project is my 6th graders.

They have been a challenge for me since I started 5 years ago. trying to figure out their likes and dislikes in the Art room has truly been a struggle. But I found that if I give them the opportunity to create something that they can build I don't hear a peep out of them for a whole 45 minutes.

My Project

I believe these 3D Art pens will make a difference in my students learning because they will create something from a pen that they can hold and play with, not just a piece of paper. It will give them the opportunity to use a different media that most would never have the opportunity to do.

One lesson that I really would love to do is create self portrait cookie cutters of the teachers.

The students would then make cookies with them and give the snacks to their teachers as a kind appreciation gesture.

I also thought that creating self portraits of themselves would be awesome!
