A classroom set of Chromebooks will give them the ability to work on individual projects that are important to them and can help them focus on their specific goals and needs. My students respond well to creativity and flexibility, and technology gives them the versatility they need.

This year my students have the opportunity to develop new writing skills from narrative writing to expository writing to writing their first essays! Our class's current student to Chromebook ratio is 1:2. That means only half of us can work on a project at a time. With a 1:1 ratio my students will be able to work on writing at their own pace and work on developing their skills based on need. We use Chromebooks for every subject from math fact fluency to novel studies and research projects. Using technology to learn is a skill they will use through college and beyond, and now is the time to start developing that skill!
