My Students

My classroom is made up of 26 little first graders who reside in a large city in Pennsylvania. We are looking forward to a great year of development as learners and citizens. My class loves to draw. Reading and writing are areas of need for them.

Throughout the day, we have a variety of guided centers.

My students need actively engaging resources so I am able to work with small groups. It does not take much to make my group happy. They respond to TLC and knowing you are there for them.

My Project

Help me to harness the power of 3D printing to teach important STEM concepts, 21st-century learning skills, and Design Thinking in a fun and engaging way. Let me put hands-on learning into the kids' hands. Having 3d models of certain objects gives my class a perspective many of them have never seen. It will give them a new way to engage with materials and real-world concepts. I can get very creative having one of these in my classroom. I am excited by the thought of all the possibilities.
