My fourth grade classroom is an environment where every child is encouraged and challenged to do their best. The students abilities have a wide range that need to be met daily. They come to school ready to learn, and it is my goal to provide them with the best education I can give them.
We are a very diverse school, with children of all different races and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Students in our school hunger to learn, but need to be met with exciting, captivating lessons that grab their attention and bring that excitement to the surface.
My Project
When you think of a printer you would probably think of an image printed on paper. A 3D printer is so much more.
When you use a 3D printer the image is NOT on paper, and they do NOT use ink.
It will allow projects to come to life. It will be an advancement in technology unlike any other, using filament and creations only limited by the students' imaginations.
We want to get a 3d printer for the classroom because it will change the way we learn. 3D printers will inspire kids to excel in mathematics, researching differences in the metric system, temperature, and melting points. It will encourage cooperative learning and teamwork as students actively see their results and push to make their product better.
