This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are energetic, intelligent, and engaged. They are very hands-on and eager to explore how everything works while working together to express themselves. This class is designed to encourage the students to design projects that match their interests, so they can then build these designs by hand.

On their first project, the students chose to build 3-D objects that represent important events in history, including 9-11.

However, we quickly realized that we did not have all the materials we needed to make the projects as successful as the students would have liked. We need play sand, Play-Doh, clay, and more! This project will provide those resources.
