We have incredible parent and community members that continuously support our students by volunteering their time and encouraging our students to be life-long leaners.
My 2nd graders are an incredible group of very enthusiastic groupd of children to who LOVE to learn! I want to provide them with the best 21st century resources in our classroom to keep them actively engaged while also promoting the use developmentally appropriate technology.
My Project
I would like my students to have the opportunity to learn basic coding skills and reinforce math and reading concepts via Osmo. The Osmo Gaming System is kid-friendly and easy to use. It requires an iPad mini to run the system. We will utilize the system throughout our Daily 4 (RELA), and math workshop stations to reinforce and explore new skills.
Osmo Games in combination with iPad mini software have the potential to lay a foundation that could provide a promising future for many of my students.
These educational games include tangrams, word study, math, art, coding, and design. The games are interactive and allow for independent practice of various skills. Students will enjoy learning as they play! These resources will ensure daily learning is F U N for all of my students.
