My students are amazing! They all come from diverse backgrounds and together we create the perfect puzzle. I teach at a STAR school (previously known as a Title 1 school), so most of the students come from impoverished backgrounds. Therefore, I want my classroom to be welcoming, comforting, and conducive for their learning.
In second grade, the students will learn and grow tremendously.
They will explore their curiosity, collaborate with peers, and learn the importance of being a productive member in their community.

My Project
My classroom is composed of a few friends who have special needs. Flexible seating allows these students, and all my students, the opportunity to to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Students will have access to these movement balls at anytime. The movement balls will be used to help students focus on their learning.
It is important that my students have the opportunity to explore their curiosity and abilities, by engaging in STEM based activities.
The marble and the race track set is a great way for students to engage in STEM based activities.
