My Project
My 2nd grade classroom is full of readers at different levels. I am new to teaching 2nd grade and want to build our classroom library. Our library contains many books on 1st grade level. I am looking to add more beginning chapter books for my students.
Students select books to read in class. They can also take books home to read by themselves or with their family members.
2nd grade is where many students transition from reading picture books to reading chapter books. Acorn books are beginning chapter books that are a great resource for this transition. I bought a few Acorn books and the students enjoyed them and built their confidence in reading. Please support my students reading by giving. Thanks!
