Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are made up of a variety of learning styles; Gifted, English Language Learners, and Exceptional. All of these students are diverse, have a variety of learning styles and are equally as important in building the classroom community. Being that these students are diverse learners they also need diverse seating arrangements. Allowing more student choice in the classroom will help increase focus. These students value education and are in a transforming generation.
My students are from a low socioeconomic area that would greatly benefit from having a variety in seating choices.
My Project
Flexible seating will greatly impact my classroom learning. Providing a variety of seating options, will allow for my diverse learners to choose seats that will help them learn best. The Gaiam Kids Balance Ball Chairs and CanDo Inflatable Donut Ball will help my learners who like to wiggle in their seat. The Kick Bands Bouncy Chair Fidget Bands will help my learners who like to move their feet. Learners who like to sit on the floor can enjoy the ECR4Kids Softzone Carry Me Floor Cushions and Portable Multiuse Adjustable Recliner Stadium Seats
These flexible seating materials will help learners be able to keep up with 21st Century trends while enhancing their learning.
