My Students

The way students are learning in school is changing. Students are learning and practicing more through digital technology. I want my students to have the same experiences as other students.

I teach in a Transitional Kindergarten class in CA.

My students are learning their letters, sounds, numbers, and how to be students in a 21st Century Classroom. I have students who do not have access to the Internet at home. I have students who do not have access to computers or other digital devices. I want all of my students to benefit from 21st learning.

My Project

I am requesting an ipad mini and ipod shuffles that my students can use to practice their learning daily. I want them to practice what I teach through the many wonderful applications that are available. The shuffles will be used for small group centers. I will have them listen to stories. They will be able to use both the ipad mini and the ipod shuffles to learn and apply reading, writing, and math skills.

This project will be able to take my classroom centers and learning time towards a 21st Century Classroom.

Our society and technology is changing rapidly. I want to have my classroom and students keep up with this changing academic climate.
