My students need AboveTek tablet stands to hold their iPads, which they use for center activities and projects.
They need the microscope and slides to practice 21st century science skills, such as inquiry.
I teach at a high poverty elementary school in Honolulu, Hawaii. Students at my school come from many cultures and ethnic backgrounds. My students are 5 and 6 years old and they love to learn and experience new things in fun and exciting ways!
My school is about 50% military and 50% local students.
Due to our high military population, students transfer in and out frequently. Since school comprises a large part of a child's life, making my classroom a welcome place is an important factor in helping new students adjust to their new life.
My Project
My Kindergarten students have very small hands, and they often struggle to hold their iPads when using them for center activities and other projects. They will use the tablet stands to keep the iPads upright and secure while in use. My students love investigating with magnifying glasses, so I know the microscope and slides will ignite their curiosity and enable them to practice their inquiry skills.
The items I am asking for will help my students be the 21st century learners they need to be!
I can't wait to see their faces when they use the items I have ordered! Thank you for your support!
