This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our fine arts magnet school is located in a vibrant and diverse community. Although we are in a high poverty district, our school has been able to retain our fine arts and science magnet status. I am at a new school and hope to bring wonderful materials and experiences to my students.

My students are eager to learn and deserve all the best that I can give to them.

My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom are eager to learn how to read. The iPad Mini's are going to be use as a daily activity in my classroom to engage students into reading. Using the iPads as a resource to learn how to read step by step. The iPads will allow me to see exactly what they are doing and how they are do in it, as will as provide and easy way for them to show and share what they do. By using the tablets, students will be more engaged and will avoid any distraction by focusing and increase their learning.
