Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is filled with a diverse group of curious students who come from various backgrounds. Many of my students come from low-income families, and they don't have the resources others may have.

All of my students come to school eager and ready to learn.

Which is why I do my best to give all of my them the resources they need to have a successful future. Even though my students come from various backgrounds, there's one thing that makes them the same. They love learning, especially when they get to learn in creative ways.

My Project

I am requesting two Chromebooks to help inspire my students to fill their curious minds with knowledge using technology. Often in class, my students want to further their knowledge on a topic we are learning about, but they can't because we don't have enough Chromebooks. I want my students to have the opportunity to go beyond our classroom walls to learn. There's only so much they can do with paper and pencil and a limited amount of books.

With these Chromebooks, my students will be more engaged, they will learn to collaborate, and they will have their curiosity fulfilled.

They will be able to use these Chromebooks not only to research on the current topic, but they will be able to create presentations and documents. The best part, they can share these projects with each other.
