My students are amazingly bright and so eager to learn. The students in my classroom are working 1-2 grade levels above their current grade. Both my seventh and eighth-grade classes are learning Algebra I and half of 8th grade standards in one school year. This requires students to work at a very fast pace. Having technology available to my students will allow students to work at their own pace. Some students will need more review and deliberate practice, while other students are ready to move on. The access to Chromebooks in my classroom is crucial to differentiating instruction.

My Project
The goal is to create a 21st century classroom where learning is enhanced with technology and collaborative learning by allowing access to quality learning tools, like a Chromebook.
Incorporating technology in the classroom is way to supplement and enhance student learning.
My goal is for all students to have access to a Chromebook during PRIDE period for intervention and enrichment, in addition to checking grades, emailing teachers or completing assignments in other curricular areas. Providing tools, like a storage caddy and cord clips, to my students to help them achieve their goals is most important. Access to a Chromebook is just another way I can provide a resource for my students' success.
