Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a self-contained behavioral intervention program in an inner city school in NJ. My students are creative, diverse learners who need teachers to research resources out there to meet all their learning needs. These students are naturally outside the box thinkers who need resources which meet them where they are in their learning. Last's school year's shut down during the pandemic put these students at a distinct and detrimental disadvantage and are, again, beginning the school year virtually. These powerful young learners need resources to reach them and to move them forward to success!

My Project

Both of these digital platforms will help engage my students to continue to increase their learning potential and keep them hungry for more! My students have not set foot in the classroom yet this year. Learning from home has posed a host of challenges and These platforms are what I need to keep them engaged and excited to learn. Each of these platforms is host to numerous fun and engaging ways to increase their knowledge and help them close the gap between where they are academically and push them closer to grade level learning.
