At our school, we are lucky to have sports teams for our students to join and participate in. Coaching basketball calls for new equipment every few years for the players to take advantage of.
This year, we are in need of additional basketball equipment for the Girls Varsity and Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Teams!
Shared equipment at school shows wears and tear very quickly. Please help our students continue to build their love for basketball and keep their team equipment organized and ready to go for games and practices!
My Project
The basketball teams that I coach have been sharing their equipment with PE classes at our school; this shared equipment can show more wear and tear quickly or may go missing, and players have less to practice with.
With their own team equipment, players will be able to have their own basketballs organized and better traction on their feet.
We recently received generous donations for team basketballs, so it would be great to have a cart where the team basketballs are stored that are separate from the school's PE basketballs. We are also asking for sticky mat replacement sheets; players go through these very quickly, so we would love to have more of these to use at practices and before games so players do not slip around on the court.
Finally, players need a way to stay organized while scrimmaging and always hate to be the team wearing pinnies, so the wristbands will be an alternative way to tell who is on which team.
