Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students represent diversity in and outside of our schools. We are a kindergarten through second grade class in South Central Los Angeles. I would love to have the resources to show my my students that they too, are represented in literature, toys and art.
My students are hard workers who enjoy learning.
They will be so excited to see themselves in our library and art supplies all while having a space in which we can sit and enjoy said materials. They are an incredible group!
My Project
The supplies and materials that I have chosen will help my students succeed during the second semester of school. We need paper to be able to print, create and do work in our classroom. We need markers to let our creativity flow and encourage our students' artistic abilities. The classroom snacks will be used as classroom incentives to help students flourish throughout the school year.
I know these materials will make a huge difference in our classroom and will help my students learn and succeed!
