Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager learners who love hands-on, engaging, learning experiences. I strive to bring engaging memorable learning experiences to our classroom each and every day. I teach outside of the box by bringing hands-on labs, activities, chants, dances, and experiences in to our classroom daily. My students have truly committed themselves to being the very best scientists they can possibly be. My students are brilliant and require extraordinary learning experiences to grow. I am committed to providing them with the best learning experience I am capable of providing by growing and learning right along with them and bringing my best each day! My students attend a Title I Public School and a large percentage of my students are economically disadvantaged.
My Project
Assisting me in getting to the 2019 Get Your Teach On conference means assisting me in reaching out and creating memorable, extraordinary, learning experiences for all of the students I have the blessing to grow. The Get Your Teach On conference will provide me with the opportunity to learn from some of the greats in the field of education, join in community with other thriving educators, and gather new tools for my teacher toolbox. This 4-day conference allows teachers to connect with other educators from around the globe and listen to keynote speakers about all subject matters. I plan on trying out new techniques, ideas, and materials learned in my classroom to transform my students learning environment and experience!
This conference is all about total engagement and doing what is best for students - and so am I!
I believe that this conference will assist me in growing and learning to become a better educator for our children who are the future of our great country.
