Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The use of flexible seating in classroom environments has shown to improve oxygen flow to the brain, as well as increase blood flow and core strength.

Everyday my students ask if they can sit on the carpet or somewhere around the room to help them best learn and finish their tasks.

Thus, these flexible seating options, including the pillows and floor seats, would be a great fit for my classroom. These allow more comfortable options for students to choose from to sit around the class rather than a concrete floor. I can’t wait to see these school colors in the classroom!
