My students need the Apple iPad as a learning tool. The iPad is a great resource for displaying ebooks featuring images, video and audio for learning purposes.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a unique group of 1st grade students. They are energetic, and they want to use their energy in physical activities such as running, climbing, and jumping. My students enjoy physical activities, hands-on learning, and technology. I have 25 students in my room with the majority boys. The students enjoy recess, STEM, and P.E. Each one of my students is a joy to have in my class. My students enjoy the opportunity to learn using physical movement and hands-on activities.
My Project
The teaching materials that I am in need of will help student learning and increase student success. The writing paper will be used for writing about different experiment in the classroom. The learning materials will be an important access to my classroom because it can significantly increase student achievement by supporting individual student learning.
The iPad will add important structure to lesson planning and the delivery of instruction.
The Math games will aid in differentiation of instruction. It will provided students with different hands on tools for learning. The learning games will aid with instruction to the different learning styles and capacities within my classroom. The other materials such as writing paper, construction paper and magnet boards will aid students in group activity instructions, games, and homework assignments. All the materials I request will allow students to learn according to their individual student's learning style and needs.
