My Students
I currently teach 22 students in a charter school in Federal Heights, Colorado. Each of my students brings a variety of experiences and talents to our classroom. With a group of students with varying needs, our classroom appreciates all of the support!
The students are in need of headphones to listen to read aloud and to listen to different apps throughout content areas.
Students are also in need of noise-canceling headphones, which allow them to focus on their work and helps minimize distractions throughout the school day.
My Project
These headphones and flexible seating options will support first-grade students for years to come. Students will be receiving headphones to hear their own tablets rather than their classmates' progress. Students will be able to focus on their school work with fewer distractions in the classroom. The noise-canceling headphones will support students who choose to have a quiet learning environment during independent practice. My hope is that my students will also be able to use these resources with options of flexible seating to ensure they are in a learning environment where they feel comfortable to take risks and challenge themselves across all subject levels.
